Food

There will be three occasions during the day when food will be provided, as follows:

Canapés – 1:00 p.m.

After the wedding ceremony, there will be drinks and canapés, in the garden, weather permitting (approximately 1:00 p.m.).

The canapés will be as follows:

Rainbow Nori Roll with carrot, cucumber, peppers & sesame – vegan (awaiting confirmation on whether gluten-free)
Oxford Blue and Braeburn Apple Tart – vegetarian
Dukka spiced carrot with whipped avocado – vegetarian & gluten-free
Prawn rice paper with black sesame seeds, iceberg lettuce & marie-rose sauce
Smoked Salmon with cream cheese and cucumber dill roll

Main Meal – 3:00 p.m.

The wedding breakfast is at 3:00 p.m., for which the main menu is as follows:

Main Menu

Starter – gin & kaffir cured salmon with cucumber & avocado
Main – 24hr soya honey roasted pork belly, fennel, apple ‘slaw, apple sauce, lemon & thyme fondant potato
Dessert – chocolate mousse cake with fresh raspberries & raspberry coulis

Obviously, the above menu is “meatatarian”. For those of you with dietary requirements not met by the above menu, the chef will provide alternative dishes. Once we have confirmed all dietary requirements, the chef will work out a plan to meet everyone’s needs.

Everyone will be served the “meatatarian” menu unless we instruct the venue otherwise. So please tell us by 1st May 2023 if you want the vegan gluten-free menu.

Children’s Menu

Starter – crudités & dips
Main – chicken goujons and french fries
Dessert – ice cream sundae

Evening Food – 9:00 p.m.

The evening food (9:00 p.m.) will be fish finger and bacon sandwiches, of which there will be a vegan and gluten-free alternative available.

Drinks Menu

Drinks after the ceremony

There will be Prosecco, mocktails, and water (still and sparkling) with the canapés.

Wine

There will be wine provided with the wedding breakfast at 3:00 p.m. The white wine is Le Pionnier Blanc (Gascogne, France). The red wine is Hamilton Heights Shiraz (South East Australia).

Bar

There is a bar available throughout the day and evening. You will need to pay for your own drinks. Please note that the bar is cash only!

Tea and coffee

Tea and coffee will be served at 6:00 p.m. in the Orangery.

Cake

Cupcakes

We are not having a wedding cake – instead, we have wedding cupcakes. These will all be vegetarian. There will be some gluten-free cupcakes too which will be marked as gluten-free. Regrettably, there will be no vegan cupcakes.
